An Appeal to Saints and Sinners Alike
The Connacht Tribune, Saturday, April 14, 1923.
For the love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus I Appeal to all for Funds to roof the Roundstone Church. A few weeks ago the roof was practically blown away and the walls damaged. The people of the district are down and out as the fishing is nil for the last three years. They have given generously of the only thing they can give — viz work.
I, therefore, appeal to all to do something to help to roof a House for Jesus. He will repay you as He alone knows how to do so well. The Archbishop of Tuam sends a cheque for £50 and blesses those who contribute towards the good work.
Subscriptions will be thankfully received and gratefully acknowledged by —
