Proprietor James O’Hara, Esq., Raheen, Gort. Agent Barry O’Hara, Esq., Galway. Middleman Henry Lahiff, Esq., Gort, on a lease of 31 years at 2s. 10d. per acre. County Cess 2s. 11½d. per acre. Tithe 1s. 0d. per acre. No bog. This townland is partly occupied by cattle and sheep belonging to the middleman, and more let as conacre ground for potatoes. Ruins of an old castle in this townland and nine forts. Authority Mr. Lynskey, Baliff to Mr.Gregory and Patrick Kelly, Steward at Mr. O’Hara.
