Clare and occupied by the cotter as a stock farm. Pays yearly rent 20s. per acre. County Cess 2s. 11½d. per acre. Tithe withheld. Soil rocky, pasture. A Holy Well here called Bullannacanna. The quality of the water has the affect of curing sore eyes, stations performed here. Ruins of an old castle, a small burying ground for children, some plantations and ruins of an old fortress on Bulwart. A fort with 2 caves here and Lydacon Lodge.
