Proprietor Captain John Bruce Blake, Esq., 47 Regt. of foot. Agent Mr. James Butler, Drimsnav. Rent £56. 8s. 0d. Bulked yearly. Soil a high ridge of mountain, all heathy and mixed pasture having the village and greatest part of tillage on South side at foot of mountain also some arable mountain towards the Northern extremity. Co. Cess 11 ¼ d. paid per acre for 104 acres. Antiquities a holywell Tubbereena, Cuslaunnakirka, Doon, Carthron, Doon Cottage, Quay, Illaunancirka,, Attheeduf, Shindella. 6 rocks:- Corrigeenee, Fronadthoona, Illaunshrue, Corgeens. Crops not good. Well, Cloggum Mere.
Situation:
In the South side of the Parish. Bounded on the North by the townland of Claggin and on the West, South and East by Lough Corrib. In the Barony of Ross and County of Galway.
