Description:
This townland is the property of Patrick Kelly held by a deed for ever. It contains a.r.p. about 1/6 of which are bog, the remainder arable. It is principally under sheep walks. The County Cess is included with Cloonaclookaun.
Situation:
Lies in the barony of Loughrea and is the most southern part of this parish bounded by Raugloss in this parish and Kilconnel barony by Benmore and Benbeg in Grange parish and Loughrea Barony, by Cross and Ballanful in the parish of Grange in Kilconnel Barony, by Glanashehy, Ballantubber West, New Grove, Doon and Caheernagavry in the parish of Kilreekill and Barony of Athenry, and by Carhoomore in the parish of Bullaun and Barony of Loughrea.
