Situation:
Lies in the S. West of this parish in the barony of Kilconnel bounded by Ballymabilla, Lackagh, Doonaree in said barony and by Ballydonnellan West in the barony of Cloonmacnoon in this parish by Ballanlaur, Ballantubber East and Glanaskehy in the parish of Kilreekil and barony of Athenry. It is about 7 miles East of Loughrea and 4 miles W. S. West of Aughrim.
