Description:
John Blake, Esq., Proprietor. This townland contains 353 acres, 235 of which are cultivated and 18 uncultivated. No lease. Is let at the yearly rent of £1 per acre. County Cess 2s. 4d. per acre for each of 58. Tythe 6d. to 4 ¼ d. per acre for 3 descriptions of land. The soil is a light limestone one, produces potatoes, wheat, corn and flax. No mineral, nothing remarkable.
Situation:
Situated in the E. side of the parish. Said parish is only the breadth of this townland at this place, therefore said townland touches the N. and S. boundaries. It is bounded N. by parish of Killimer-Daly and S. by parish of Lickerrig, Abberanvill and Farty, E. by Galboola, W. by Carrowkeel and Closhaganny.
