Description:
This townland contains several farm houses, lime kilns and lime stone quarries, two Danish Forts and a Trigl. All arable.
Situation:
Bounded on the North East by Clarary and Rathmore Demesne, East by Coolbawn West, S. West by Lisduff and Rayconnor in the parish of Teena, and N. West by Kuilenamullawn in the parish of Abbeygormican.

Kilnamullaun in Galway ; Coill-na-mhullán, wood of the bulláns or young bulls. B eclipsed by m ; p. 3, I [reproduced below].
I. B is eclipsed by m, and the Irish combination (mb or m-b) is sounded as m alone. Ballynamanoge, in Wicklow, represents Baile-na-mbánóg, the town of green fields, where the b of bánog disappears and is replaced by m.
