Description:
The Northern part of this townland is quite light and of an uneven surface, the Southern part is of a middling good quality. The houses are in good repair. It is held under a deed for ever by Messrs. Jones and Blake. Lissheennabausta Fort is situated on rising ground within 2½ chains N. East of the mearing of Newtownkelly and this townland. It contains 122a. 1r. 12p. Amount of County Cess is included with Abbeycoffey East.
Situation:
Lies in the South of this parish in the barony of Cloonmacnoon, bounded by Crossconnel-more, Cappagh, Abbycoffey East, Sheepwalk and Newtown Kelly townlands in said barony and by Somerset and Glebe of Somerset in the barony of Longford.
