Church of the seven daughters J.O’D.
Description:
Is a burial ground in which is the ruin of a house of worship. Its walls are standing and are about 10 feet high. It is about 40 feet long and 24 broad with an altar of stones in its E. end. There is also at the E. end of this, a round hill in form of a fort about 1 chain in diameter. It has a green surface. It is said to be gradually made by putting a stone in it at the coming of each corpse. Such, however, is not in use nowadays.
Situation:
Situated in N.W. corner of Coshleen townland.
