Description:

This is a long, straggling, and irregularly framed townland, nearly all pasture. There are two portions of bog, and one of rough and rocky pasture. It contains [Unable to read.][Unable to read.][Unable to read.]; with several ruins near it, one graveyard with a chapel in ruins, and one Danish Fort. Proprietor Burton Persse, Esq.County Cess 1s. 71/4.

Situation:

Forms the N. Western part of the Parish, is bounded by the townlands of Ballydavid, Carhouroe, [Unable to read.] in this Parish, by Cloaharoostha[Unable to read.], [Unable to read.], [Unable to read.] and Ballydoogan in that of Kilmeen.
