Description:
This is a large compact and partially wooded townland, containing a Gentleman’s Seat and premises which includes an extensive orchard. It is the property of Mr. Galbraith. Rent £1 per acre. Co. Cess 1s. 2d. It contains 1 Danish Fort.
Situation:
In the Barony of Loughrea and lies a little N. of the centre of the parish, and is bounded by the townlands of Glebe of Garden Blake, Lissadoil, Gurteennanishka, Ballynahouna, Farnaun and Garden Blake.
