A castle, Donnellans
Description:
This is a large townland, all arable except some pieces covered with rocks, about half of it is tillage. It contains the ruins of an old castle, a small D. Fort and cave, a small lough, and a Trigl. Station. Proprietor Mr. Lambert. Rent £1.12s. Co. Cess 1s. 6d.
Situation:
Lies in the Barony of Kiltartan in the Northern part of the parish, and is bounded by the townlands of Limepark North, Limepark South, Turloughnacloghdhu, Commons, Loughanawadda and Skehanagh in this parish, Kinvarra, Tullyra, Cockstown West and Cockstown East in that of Ardrahan.
