Description:
The Rev. John Burke of Kilcolgan, Incumbent. The small Glebe of Kinvarra is good land and let for building during the Incumbency from 1s/6d. to 2s/0 per foot; the ground of a New Church is laid out in this Glebe and it is expected the building of it will commence in 1839. Prayers are read by the Incumbent every Sunday. (Sacrament Sunday excepted) in the House of Mr. Donn, a Linen Draper in the Town of Kinvarra. Authority Mr. Richard Allen Foley, Kinvarra.
Situation:
In the East of the parish of Kinvarra, Barony of Kiltartan and County Galway, close to and West of the town of Kinvarra.
