Description:
Mostly pasture of a good description with a few acres of choice tillage. There is a Danish Fort, a Roman C. chapel, a graveyard in this townland. The chapel is also used as a school House. No. of pupils 30 males and 20 females, all R.C.Proprietor, John Lobdell[Unable to read.], Esq., of Athenry. Rent per acre 20s. County Cess 1s. 13/4d.
Situation:
Forms the S. Western corner of the parish, is bounded by the townlands of Gorteen and [Unable to read.] South in that parish, by [Unable to read.] in that of Kilreekil and by Lackafinna North and Lackafinna South in that of Kilconickny.
