Searching for people who lived in Galway up to 1911

This form can be used to search for people who lived in Galway city or county up to 1911. Galway is a county in the west of Ireland.
Add information about a relative or household member +
Be aware that a search for a relation may exclude records that may be of interest.
  • Such a search will exclude the Tithe Applotment Books and the Griffith's Valuation as these resources only list heads of households.
  • It will also exclude records where a relationship is not known. This can happen for a number of reasons.
    • Two relations lived in different households at the time of the census.
    • A relation was not alive at the time of the census.
This feature is helpful but please keep the above caveats in mind.
