Description:
This parish contains 4,697 statute acres and extends N. & S. 4½ miles and from E. to W. about 1½ miles. There is a considerable portion of it bog, but the arable land is of a good quality.
Situation:
Situated in the Count of Galway and the Barony of Kilconnel and Loughrea, 3 miles N. of Loughrea Town, 9 miles W. of Ballinasloe and 10 miles E. of Athenry.
