Description:
This part of the Ph. is for the most part a poor shallow soil with a large portion of bog and boggy pasture. It it is situated a gentleman’s seat called Graig Abbey. This part of the Ph. (Kilconnel Barony) contains about 4,130 acres.
Situation:
It is situated in the Southern extremity of the Parish. It is bounded on the E. by Ph. of Moylough. S. by Athenry and W. by Lackagh. About 1 ½ miles N.E. of the town of Athenry.
