Description:

James Daly, Esqr. Proprietor. This townland contains 251 1/2 acres 217 of which are cultivated, 13 uncultivated, 26 of wood. Leases for life. Rent 12/6 per acre. County Cess from 2/4 to 2/6 per acre yearly. The soil is light and produces potatoes, barley, wheat, corn and flax. The only mineral is limestone.

Situation:

Situated in the S. E. corner of the parish, is bounded N. by Cahernalee, E. and S. by the parish Kilconeeron, W. by Carhooreagh. Barony of Dunkellin.
