Description:
Proprietor Thomas Martin, M.P., Ballinahinch Castle. Agent Walter Mons, Esq., Oughterard. The greatest part of this townland is held by 19 tenants and 12 cottiers who pay a bulk rent of £100 a year. Lease of one life. Soil light gravely clay and part of it moory, producing potatoes, wheat, barley. Houses of stone walls, land very rocky. There is in this townland a two story high house called Ashly Park. The residence of Mr. Seymoure and one called Bushy Park House the residence of Robert Martin, Esq., also Lakeview House, Capt. Blessett, Proprietor.

East of the parish. Bounded on the North by Dangan Lower, on East by Newcastle, on S.E. by Shantalla, on S. and S.W. by Leitra and on W. by Bannacranny.
