Description:

Sir Ross Mahon, Proprietor. Mr. Charles Filgate, Agent. This townland contains 706 acres, 231 of which are cultivated, 609 uncultivated and 415 bog. No lease. Is let at the yearly rent of 22s. per acre. County Cess 2s. 1d… per acre for each of 78 being the 110 of acres of this townland that is cessed. The tythe is 9s. the 1st, 6s. for the 2nd, and 4¼d. for the 3rd; quality of land. The rock is limestone. The soil light. Produce potatoes, corn and flax, no minerals.

Situation:

Situated on the W. boundary of the parish and near the N. of same. It has Granna and Beechhill on the N. Boundary, and Crossinacrin on the E., and the parish of Killimer-Daly on the S. and W. In Kilconnel Barony.
