Description:
Bernard Mahon, Esq., Proprietor. This townland contains 582 acres, 407 of which are cultivated, 38 uncultivated, 119 of bog and 18 of wood. No lease, the part of it that is let pays 14s. 5d. per acre yearly. County Cess is 2s. 2d. per acre for each acre of 102 being the no. of this townland that pay cess. The rock is limestone. The soil light. Produce, potatoes, corn and flax. No mineral. The residence of the above is 4 stories high. In Kilconnel Barony.
Situation:
Situated on the E. boundary of the parish and near the N. of same. It is bounded N. by Streamstown, E. by the parish of Killaan, S. by Clonbennis, Derynamanna and Granna, and W. by the parish of Killimor-Daly.
